Letter to Toronto Canada

I'm Jami Campbell, I'm 17 years old. I'm so thrilled that I was able to be in charge of emailing your Young Women's group. I've been lucky enough to visit Canada a few times and I absolutely love when my family is able to visit my aunt who still lives in Orillia. I love sewing, photography, reading (my favorite books are currently The Hunger Games trilogy or To Kill a Mockingbird), blogging and American Sign Language (I'm currently learning it and hope to be fluent one day). Compared to a lot of the wards in my area our ward is very small (we only have 5 active girls) but I love it! I love having a small Young Women's group, it makes it so much easier to become close to the other girls in my ward.

A couple weeks ago for mutual we had our annual New Beginnings. We had such a fun theme, we did the entire program as if we were in an airplane. This year we focused on the Mutual theme in D&C 115 and on the different Young Women values. Each young women was given a different value and was asked to give her testimony on that value. I was given Faith. One of my favorite scriptures is in Alma 32:21 it says "And now as I said concerning faith-faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." Reading the Book of Mormon always helps me increase my faith. I know that by having faith in Christ we will be able to overcome any trials that life throws at us by using the Atonement in our lives. I know that Joseph Smith restored the Gospel on this Earth and that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today.
