Letter from Chile

Hi, my name is Nehy SanMartin Castro.  I live in Santiago Chile in a suburb by the capital.  I go to the ward "The Thought", in the stake "The Standard".  I was born into the covenant.  I thank my Heavenly Father a lot for this.  In August I will turn 16 years old.  I'm happy that I will be a Laurel so I can make new goals and reach new objectives.  Since I was young I have loved the gospel.  My friends ask me if this is for me and I respond to them that I don't know what my life would be like with out the standards of the church.  I would give my life life for the gospel if it were necessary.
Over all things I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father.  I know that if we strive to keep the commandments we will be able to return to his presence and find ourselves with both of them.  I know that this church is true and there is not another.  Also I know that the trials our Heavenly Father gives us is so that we can learn and progress.  Because of this I have gained a testimony that if we build upon the rock of the gospel we will never be defeated.  I hope that you can live the gospel to the max and you can enjoy it.  I don't know you but I know that we are doing the right thing.  I love you.  Always put to practice the teaching of the prophets.

Letter to Santiago Chile

Kia Ora!
My name is Wiramina Wihongi. I am age 12 and I live in Taylorsville, Utah. I am the only Beehive in the Brookshire ward. I am Maori American My parents are both half Maori. Maori's are the native people from New Zealand. I am the second oldest, I have an older brother, and a younger brother and two younger sisters.

I like playing all sports, like softball, volleyball, tennis, flag football & basketball. I am learning Tahitian dancing right now, with my younger sister, it is a lot of fun. I have always loved animals and I have a hamster named 'Kiwi' who I love soooo much!!! It is summer holidays right now and we have no school and we go swimming a lot at the local pool. When I am bored I usually play with my friends.

One of our church activities I have done was Youth Conference.
Annika, Jami, Emilee, Eliza, Bailey (Eliza's cousin), Mina
At Youth Conference the young women and men stayed at a resort called Snowbird. It is up in the mountains there is still a little bit of snow left on the mountain from winter. We did all sorts of activities like, hiking, bowling, limbo, mechanical bull, a huge slide. We ate all sorts of foods from different Nations, Mexican, German Polynesian. My favorite was dessert, all the food was Delicious!!!
My oldest brother 'Tyrell' and I represented the Polynesian Island's. But we spoke mainly about 'New Zealand'. We had to share information about the church in different countries. And we learned about how the church started in New Zealand and about our ancestors it was very interesting.

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Heavenly Father's true church and that it is the same in other countries. I love hearing about other people from other nations sharing about their light, and I know the scriptures are true. I love you ALL.

Letter From Japan

So, I don't know you right now but before, in heaven I know you were my friend. You are a daughter of god and he loves you very much. Sometimes you may feel like he doesn’t care but, you are not invisible! I hope someday I will be able to meet you and I hope if that day comes we will get along very well!!
Your friend and fellow YW
Jaelyn

I am Yuki Konno.
I am seventeen years old.  It is so sad that I am almost graduating YW.  I think that my faith and testimony are getting strength by many experiences while YW. We always have fun lessons because our ward has many members in YW. I think it is blessing. The friends of church are true friend. I learned lesson about example today and my friend of church always show me great example. I am so glad that we can exchange something over sea as same YW.
I do Facebook, so please find me there.  I LOVE YOU!!

I am 15 years old and 9th grade.  My favorite foods are strawberry and Japanese sweets (WAGASHI).  I went to YW camp and had Orienteering.  It was great.  There are many members in our Izumi ward and it is lively.  YW are also a lot of fun too.  I love going to church.   I know Heavenly Father listen to our prayer and help us.  I am grateful for that.  In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

It was raining hard, but we learned a lot.  And after that we all danced; we were tired, but we became closer.  Girl’s camp is so great because learning new stuff and get know each other more.

March 11th at the earth quake, one of the part of church broke and we couldn't have sacrament meeting, so I was unhappy, but I stayed home for prayer, reading scripture that I made for the holy time, so next week I could go to church and I met all of them and realized how grateful for going to church.
Now I go to church every Sunday. I pick the church not school club. There are 2 girls in our ward who couldn't come to church for while, so I asked them for small activities and things we do. Please invite some girls who can't come to church right now. I am sorry I can't make short, but it is pleasure to get to know you.

Letter to Japan

My name is Emilee Page, and I am 14 years old.  I live in Murray Utah.  I have 7 brothers and sisters along with 4 nieces and 1 little nephew.
Every Wednesday I go to Young Women’s.  A few weeks ago we had a treasure hunt which we did as a group.  It was fun, the people who made it put a lot of work into it.  That is a great thing about our church, we serve.  We serve because it is not just service to our fellow friends, it is service to our Lord and God.
This I know, Jesus is the Christ and he has one church through which he directs the fullness of his work.  All other churches have portions of the truth, but lack all that is necessary to bring about true salvation.  I know that I can be with my family forever.  I know that my family will not end after death because I am sealed to my parents, and one day I will have my own children that will be sealed to me.  I believe the Book of Mormon is true and Joseph Smith was a prophet.
Eliza, Mina and I are making lanterns for girl's camp.

Letter to Beijing

Hello! My name is Eliza Morgan. I am 14 years old. I love singing, acting, reading, shopping, drawing, talking and most of all my family and friends. I live in Utah amd I'm in the Brookshire ward. Our ward only has 5 active girls (2 Laurels, 2 MiaMaids and 1 Beehive), which is small compared t o most wards in Utah; but I love it! We are all so close and we have amazing young women leaders which only make it all so much better!
Last week for mutual for mutual we had a fashion show. It was a combined activity, which is when three wards join for an activity. This is what we did: We were all divided into six groups of girls, and then each group was sent into a room. In each room there were 20 items, 10 normal fasion things and 10 random things, like tin foil. We had to choose a model to dress in all the items, and then she'd take the runway while the spokesperson described her outfit. It was fun.

I'd likke to share my testimony that I know with all my heart that this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is true. I am so grateful to be a member of it. I know that the Savior lives and I know that he loves us. When I feel so alone, and don't want to talk to anyone, but he is still there to comfort me. I love the chruch and the feeling it brings. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet today.

Letter to Toronto Canada

I'm Jami Campbell, I'm 17 years old. I'm so thrilled that I was able to be in charge of emailing your Young Women's group. I've been lucky enough to visit Canada a few times and I absolutely love when my family is able to visit my aunt who still lives in Orillia. I love sewing, photography, reading (my favorite books are currently The Hunger Games trilogy or To Kill a Mockingbird), blogging and American Sign Language (I'm currently learning it and hope to be fluent one day). Compared to a lot of the wards in my area our ward is very small (we only have 5 active girls) but I love it! I love having a small Young Women's group, it makes it so much easier to become close to the other girls in my ward.

From left to right Lexi, Cori, Mina, Emilee, Annika, Me, and Eliza
A couple weeks ago for mutual we had our annual New Beginnings. We had such a fun theme, we did the entire program as if we were in an airplane. This year we focused on the Mutual theme in D&C 115 and on the different Young Women values. Each young women was given a different value and was asked to give her testimony on that value. I was given Faith. One of my favorite scriptures is in Alma 32:21 it says "And now as I said concerning faith-faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." Reading the Book of Mormon always helps me increase my faith. I know that by having faith in Christ we will be able to overcome any trials that life throws at us by using the Atonement in our lives. I know that Joseph Smith restored the Gospel on this Earth and that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today.
