Letter from Chile

Hi, my name is Nehy SanMartin Castro.  I live in Santiago Chile in a suburb by the capital.  I go to the ward "The Thought", in the stake "The Standard".  I was born into the covenant.  I thank my Heavenly Father a lot for this.  In August I will turn 16 years old.  I'm happy that I will be a Laurel so I can make new goals and reach new objectives.  Since I was young I have loved the gospel.  My friends ask me if this is for me and I respond to them that I don't know what my life would be like with out the standards of the church.  I would give my life life for the gospel if it were necessary.
Over all things I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father.  I know that if we strive to keep the commandments we will be able to return to his presence and find ourselves with both of them.  I know that this church is true and there is not another.  Also I know that the trials our Heavenly Father gives us is so that we can learn and progress.  Because of this I have gained a testimony that if we build upon the rock of the gospel we will never be defeated.  I hope that you can live the gospel to the max and you can enjoy it.  I don't know you but I know that we are doing the right thing.  I love you.  Always put to practice the teaching of the prophets.

Letter to Santiago Chile

Kia Ora!
My name is Wiramina Wihongi. I am age 12 and I live in Taylorsville, Utah. I am the only Beehive in the Brookshire ward. I am Maori American My parents are both half Maori. Maori's are the native people from New Zealand. I am the second oldest, I have an older brother, and a younger brother and two younger sisters.

I like playing all sports, like softball, volleyball, tennis, flag football & basketball. I am learning Tahitian dancing right now, with my younger sister, it is a lot of fun. I have always loved animals and I have a hamster named 'Kiwi' who I love soooo much!!! It is summer holidays right now and we have no school and we go swimming a lot at the local pool. When I am bored I usually play with my friends.

One of our church activities I have done was Youth Conference.
Annika, Jami, Emilee, Eliza, Bailey (Eliza's cousin), Mina
At Youth Conference the young women and men stayed at a resort called Snowbird. It is up in the mountains there is still a little bit of snow left on the mountain from winter. We did all sorts of activities like, hiking, bowling, limbo, mechanical bull, a huge slide. We ate all sorts of foods from different Nations, Mexican, German Polynesian. My favorite was dessert, all the food was Delicious!!!
My oldest brother 'Tyrell' and I represented the Polynesian Island's. But we spoke mainly about 'New Zealand'. We had to share information about the church in different countries. And we learned about how the church started in New Zealand and about our ancestors it was very interesting.

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Heavenly Father's true church and that it is the same in other countries. I love hearing about other people from other nations sharing about their light, and I know the scriptures are true. I love you ALL.
