Letter from Munich Germany

My name is Eliza Neal and I'm fourteen years old. My mom is my young women’s leader and my at home seminary teacher. In our young women's we have an average of 5/6 girls every week. I have been living in Germany for a year and a half and moved from Lexington, KY. In my old ward we had a very large youth population so moving here to a smaller ward was tough. At school I'm one of the only Mormons and as a part of that, I have been tried many times to join kids in smoking and drinking and I'm only in 9th grade! Having standards does limit my ability to attend parties and other outings but I have learned to accept it's better for me to be at home than to be with other drunk or high people. When I'm not at school or doing school work I like to participate in drama club, watch TV, shop, and play the piano.

My name is Cailyn. I am 12 and I go to the Munich 4th Ward. I love to read, and play softball. In our ward, the young women live far away from me, so it is hard to get together for activities, but when we do we have a lot of fun together. I know that the Lord will always be there for us, we just need to ask. He will always be there to help us when we need help, comfort us when we need comfort, and guide us when we need guidance.

Hey! My name is Hayley, and I'm a Laurel. I'm from Washington, and we had a small ward (or so I thought) then I moved here, to Germany and I realized we really have a small ward. Of course, there's always a smaller branch... I think your blog idea is super cool, and I'm happy to be part of it. I was always used to having at least one Mormon in my grade at school with me. Here, I'm the only one in my grade. Most people know I'm a Mormon and I'm proud of it. I'm a big music nerd, and I play multiple instruments: Piano, voice (yes, that totally counts as an instrument...), and all sorts of percussion instruments. I love to read and to write, even though I'm not very good. I'm glad to be living here and I'm grateful for the comfort God has given me, especially when I first came here. I have a testimony of my Savior, and His guidance has been crucial to me in my time here in Germany.

Hey! My name is Abby Jarman, and I am a 15 year old Mia Maid. I just moved to Munich from Moscow, Russia a couple months ago. I can definitely relate to having a small Young Women’s group. When I left Moscow I was one of 3 girls left! It sometimes is nice to have a small group, though, because you get to know everyone that much better. It was great to hear from you!

Hi, I’m Camilla and I’m in the Munich 4th ward. I am 14 years old, and I’ve lived here for 2 1/2 years. I love the gospel because it is the same in every country, even if you only have 6 young women. We don't have activities very often but that doesn’t change that we're all good friends and we have a great time when we are together.

Letter to Munich Germany

Hello fellow righteous young women! My name is Annika Smith. I am just your average seventeen year old girl. I love fashion, shopping, Justin Bieber, talking, laughing, crafty things, and my amazing family and friends.
I live in Utah and am in the Brookshire ward. We have six young women in my ward. We are small, but we have a lot of fun together. Each of us attends a different school and even though we all have different intrests we are really good friends. The girls in my ward are a strength to me and I look forward to church and mutual every week. We are blessed to live in a place where temples are so easily accessed. This past Wednesday some of us met up and went to the temple to preform baptisms for the dead. It was a great experience. I love the feeling of the temple and how pure i feel after serving in the house of our Lord.
I have a strong testimony of this church and our temples. I know that when we attend the temples we are doing God's work and we are blessed for that. I love my heavenly father so much and I know that he loves me, and all his children. He loves us more than we can comprehend. I know that prayer will help us in our lives and can help us to keep the Spirit with us. We were chosen to be born into this dispensations for a reason, so let us try to be the best we can be. I say these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ amen.
Stay strong... and remember to keep a smile on your face! You are loved (:
